It's never easy to walk into a place you've never been to, and unfortunately, churches are not immune to this.

We work hard at FUMC to help you feel right at home. So, in order to help you feel a little more comfortable before you ever even step foot in the door, we'd like to answer some basic questions that you might be thinking about.

Where's the church?
We are located one mile north of I-30 on Hwy 37S on the southwest corner of Meadowpark Drive and Hwy 37S. See our Map & Directions page for more help HERE

What do I wear?
Ultimately, we want you to be comfortable, to be YOU. On a Sunday morning with us, you could see everything from business suits or dresses to t-shirts and shorts. There are no expectations to meet.

When do I arrive?
Our worship services at 8:30 and 11:00 am are similar with blended music. There is a coffee fellowship at the Crossroads Cafe from 9:00 to 9:45 am, that you may enjoy after the early service or before attending Sunday for all ages at 9:45 am.

What about my Children?
Children are a blessing at FUMC! We invite and encourage you to bring your children with you. Sunday School is available for children pre-Kindergarten through 5thgrade in the children’s education wing “Ignite Kids area” at 9:45. Sunday School for youth 6th through 12th grade meets at 9:45 am in the Youth Center in the Family Life Center. Childcare is available for children younger than three. During Sunday School, your children will receive a fun lesson that focuses on biblical truths and includes music, movement, and more. Children of all ages are also welcome to stay with their parents during worship services.
During the 8:30 & 11:00 am services children are invited to participate in Children’s Time at the front of the sanctuary with one of our outstanding staff, where they will receive a kid-friendly message. After this time, children return to their parents in the sanctuary for the remainder of the service. Children have Church Mouse” activity sheets to engage them during worship. The Church Mouse folders are located just outside the sanctuary in the narthex on the west side. Each Church Mouse is filled with puzzles, coloring pages, and objects for creative minds. For children 0-36 months, we have our quality nursery care and you may ask for a pager to contact you if needed. We want you to feel comfortable entrusting your infants, crawlers, and toddlers to the care of our loving first aid and CPR certified nursery staff. We practice “Safe Sanctuary”.

Where do I park?
There is off-street parking surrounding the church campus along with many spaces north of the campus at Mt. Vernon House, Ramsay Law Office and on-street parking in the adjacent neighborhood. There are designated handicap around the campus and first visitor/guest parking in the parking area northwest of the sanctuary.
